In keeping with this objective, the Rickey & Robbi Gelb Charitable Foundation has awarded hundreds of $1,000.00 scholarships to students attending a college, community college or occupational school located in the San Fernando Valley.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB of the West Valley
The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of West Valley is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
Child Development Institute
For over 25 years, the Child Development Institute has served as one of the principle providers of relationship-based early intervention and therapeutic services to children and their families. CDI is also a leading resource on early childhood development and provides professional training's to schools, teachers, and professional organizations.
Cooper Reading Challenge
This program, which serves more than 200 participants each year, is funded entirely through individual community donations. A donation to the literacy program will provide a child a book. The love of reading stimulates the imagination, opens up new worlds, empowers and changes lives.
Encino Chamber of Commerce
For over 90 years the Encino Chamber has been representing companies of various sizes that offer a broad array of services throughout the San Fernando Valley. The Chamber forges strong ties between the businesses and the community to make the area a better place to live, work, and play.
Fernando Award Foundation, Inc.
The Fernando Award is the highest award for volunteerism and philanthropy in the San Fernando Valley. It is supported by the Valley Chambers of Commerce, civic and philanthropic organizations, entrepreneurs and corporations located in the San Fernando Valley.
Mission: Encouraging volunteerism through recognition.
Vision: Creating a better San Fernando Valley community by making volunteerism a part of everyone’s life.
Guadalupe Community Center
The Guadalupe Community Center is a program of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, non-profit, non-sectarian social service agency. Guadalupe Center is committed to a variety of social services such as Free Pre-School, Youth Sports, Youth Arts & Music, hosting Holiday Toy Giveaways and much more.
Haven Hills
Since 1977 Haven Hills has provided safety and support to victims of domestic violence. We offer shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, and activities supporting increased economic opportunity. Each year we help over 3,000 women and men find the strength within themselves to break the cycle of abuse and build a new, productive and positive life for themselves and their children. Through our programs and services, we save lives, inspire change, and transform victims to empowered survivors.
L.A.P.D. Devonshire PALS
The primary goals of PALS is to develop character in youth, prevent juvenile crime and create safer y giving kids a fun place to play and learn. There are many Programs within the Center. One in particular that we support is the LAPD Cadet Program. This youth program helps to instill discipline, leadership, academic excellence, and life-skills in all youth participants. The LAPD Cadet Program also seeks to empower students to maximize their personal, scholastic, and their life potential.

L.A.P.D. West Valley B.O.O.S.T.E.R.S.
West Valley B.O.O.S.T.E.R.S. is an all-volunteer, non-profit fundraising organization. “Our Mission is to increase the effectiveness and morale of the officers and staff of the West Valley Police Station by raising money for community services, materials and equipment not generally supplied by the City of Los Angeles.”
ONEgeneration
ONEgeneration is committed to providing programs and services to seniors and their caregivers that help keep them safe and protected. ONEgeneration provides services that enable seniors to age with family, in community or independently. They promote physical health and mental well-being, provide socialization, nutrition and access to food and resources. This is all towards the goal of keeping seniors from the tipping point of decline and avoiding or delaying preventable hospitalizations and premature loss of independence.
A continuing hallmark of ONEgeneration is their "intergenerational programming" which unites seniors, children and young people in daily multicultural activities. The value of this caring and foundational relationship bond is widely recognized in research - it is an essential building block for enriching the lives of all.

This is a place that serves as a safe haven for life providing hope, opportunity, and empowerment to victims while giving them stability, self-confidence and the life tools to develop a deep personal love for themselves and, in turn, the courage to give back to others.
L.A.P.D. Topanga Police Station
Help Fight Crime in Your Neighborhood.
The LAPD depends on you, the residents of LA, to help fight crime in your neighborhood. Partner with us to make our communities safer places to live, to work and to play. This station has so much to offer the community, One of the many programs that we are proud to be sponsors of is the Cadet Program.
The purpose of the Police Cadet program is to provide special training to the youth that are preparing themselves for a career in law enforcement.
United Chambers of Commerce
United Chambers deals with Valley-wide, County-wide and Regional issues and promotes the San Fernando Valley’s overall welfare, progress and economic prosperity. They also advocate on businesses behalf on a State and Federal level for the good of all business. United Chambers encourages the development of new business ventures in the community, and supports the existing commercial base. Additionally, United Chambers provides a network of communication among chambers, businesses and government to amplify local concerns.
